"28th Annual Open Studios" presented by the Loft Artist Association
Stamford Industrial Park, 737 Canal Street in Stamford - (half mile from Exit 8 off I-95). Free parking.
Lina Morielli and over 60 member Loft Artists open their studios to the public. Visit Lina at her 6th floor studio.
The festivities begin on Friday evening at 6pm for an "after work preview". The weekend event continues on Saturday and Sunday (11am - 5pm). $5 donation appreciated.
HELPING OUR COMMUNITY
Lina recently participated in the "Heartbeat of our Community" - a public art exhibit to benefit the Danbury Hospital Development Fund for the Praxair Regional Heart and Vascular Center. The event featured the designs of over 50 three-dimensional hearts ... all decorated by local artists and built of fiberglass by CowParade, creator of the popular international shows of the same name. The hearts were unveiled at Ridgefield's Aldrich Museum and displayed throughout the region ... including the Danbury Mall. The exhibit concluded with a gala event auction at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
